Next, take a good look at what you want to do. Identify your goals - why you want a particular job. Think about what you actually want to accomplish. Don't forget that you will get exactly what you ask for.

Then, stop worrying about personal gain. You have to take care of yourself first, before you can take care of anyone else. There is a reason that firemen, police and EMTs take care of themselves. You cannot help others or help the planet if you can't help yourself!
