Folk Magic: To Protect Your Home

This Folk Magic spell can keep undesirable spiritual energies out of your home. Keeping unwanted influences out of your home is important. Your home should be a sanctuary away from the world when you need it to be. To help keep you home protected from unwanted influences, you should put up a door guardian.

Door Guardian Protection Spell

You will need:

• A Broom (preferably a Besom or cinnamon broom)
• A Sword or Dagger
• A way to hang these on or near your front door

What to do:

Sweep negative energies out of your home using the broom. Do this by gently sweeping the broom an inch or two above the floor. Use long, gentle strokes. Start from the back of your home and end at the front door. Sweep the negativity out the door.

When you have done this, hang the broom, bristles up, on your front door. While you do so, focus on the intent to keep away unwanted visitors. Next, hang the sword next to the door, point up. Focus on keeping out negative energy.

The broom and sword represent feminine and masculine energies. My wife and I both believe in door guardians. At the front door of our home, we always have a broom and sword.
